Toni Kroos announces he will RETIRE after Euro 2024 at the age of 34, as Real Madrid and Germany star brings a close to glittering career

Toni Kroos has declared his retirement after spending a decade with Real Madrid, just before his team’s Champions League final at Wembley next month.

The German national will conclude his football career entirely after participating in his home European Championships in June. He conveyed his decision through a heartfelt message on Instagram.

At 34 years old, he expressed happiness and pride in Real Madrid being his final club, emphasizing his wish to finish on a high note against Borussia Dortmund in the premier European competition.

Kroos will participate in his last LaLiga match of the season against Real Betis this Saturday, following Carlo Ancelotti’s team securing the title with two weeks remaining.

He expressed his appreciation on social media for his ten-year tenure at the Bernabeu and paid homage to the club’s supporters.
