Chelsea transfer news LIVE – Michael Olise snub, Federico Chiesa competition, Riccardo Calafiori update

Hello and welcome to Sporty splash dedicated Chelsea blog! The transfer window is well underway and while the Blues have already welcomed lots of new faces to Stamford Bridge this summer, they have already been dealt one blow in Michael Olise and look set to be handed another as Arsenal swoop in for Riccardo Calafiori.

It has been reported that the Gunners have agreed personal terms and the Italy international only has intentions of a move to North London. Elsewhere, Liverpool have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Federico Chiesa after Thiago Motta rendered the international surplus to requirements.

Reports over the weekend claimed that the 26-year-old could leave Turin for as little as £21million as he enters the final 12 months of his deal. The West Londoners have forked out almost £20m to sign Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa. This month, they've shown no sign of slowing down, with Marc Guiu joining from Barcelona and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall swapping the King Power Stadium for Stamford Bridge.

And that's not all! Renato Veiga has suddenly emerged as a target, while Aaron Anselmino edges closer to putting pen to paper. Both deals have been agreed whilst the search for a new striker goes on. Samu Omorodion is a man still being looked at with Jonathan David and Jhon Duran cannot yet be ruled out.

Nico Williams is still a name attracting plenty of attention too, as is Riccardo Calafiori. The club are also thought to be in the market for a goalkeeper, whilst Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, and Armando Broja could all yet leave.

So, with that being said, stay with us at football.london as we keep you updated on all the latest Chelsea news and transfer gossip.
