Endrick Felipe: Real Madrid’s Rising Star and ‘Bobby’

the welcoming and vibrant atmosphere of Real Madrid’s dressing room, where stars like Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe have quickly become integral members, young Brazilian talent Endrick Felipe is also feeling the love. The 18-year-old, who has yet to make his debut for Los Blancos, found himself at the center of attention following Real Madrid’s UEFA Super Cup triumph over Atalanta.

Despite not playing in the match, Endrick was very much part of the celebrations, even getting his hands on the coveted trophy.

His involvement didn’t go unnoticed, especially when Jude Bellingham left a comment on Endrick’s Instagram post, referring to him as ‘Bobby’—a nickname that has piqued curiosity among fans and the media alike.

The nickname ‘Bobby’ has its roots in a memorable moment from earlier this year when Endrick played at Wembley Stadium in a match between England and Brazil.

After the game, Endrick expressed his admiration for the legendary English footballer Bobby Charlton, saying, “I’m really happy to have scored. I’m a big fan of Bobby Charlton, who played a lot of games in this stadium, he’s English and scored a lot of goals. I’m grateful to have played here.” Endrick’s respect for Charlton is somewhat surprising given the generational gap, but it has clearly left a lasting impression on him and his teammates.

Endrick’s acknowledgment of Charlton, coupled with his match-winning goal in that game, has earned him the affectionate nickname from his Real Madrid peers.

Though he is still awaiting his first appearance for the club, the camaraderie and support within the squad are setting the stage for what could be a promising future at the Santiago Bernabéu.
