World-class deal changes Perez’s mind in the current transfer window

The transfer market remains active, leading to a surge in rumors that is expected to intensify in the coming days—a situation that Carlo Ancelotti finds troubling. The Italian coach is concentrating on the upcoming La Liga matches and has instructed his players to set aside concerns about their futures for now, given that the squad is ready.

Ancelotti stated, “The squad is complete, and we only need to wait 12 days for this situation to be resolved. We don’t require new defenders because Alaba will recover soon and we have young players prepared to step in. Although Juan is injured, Jacopo and Asensio are available to contribute in certain games.”

Despite Ancelotti’s stance, Florentino Pérez and José Ángel Sánchez are keeping their options open. Alphonso Davies has been secured for the summer of 2025, but the possibility of signing Aymeric Laporte remains, contingent on the defender’s actions. Laporte will need to terminate his contract with Al Nassr, which is essential for his transfer to Santiago Bernabéu this season.
