Fabrizio Romano reveals Real Madrid’s next transfer target following the completion of the Kylian Mbappe deal.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer specialist, has provided a significant update on who Real Madrid’s next transfer target might be.

Even before the transfer window officially opens, the reigning champions of Europe have already secured what could be considered the biggest deal of the summer. On Monday evening, it was officially announced that France superstar Kylian Mbappe has joined Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old has signed with the Spanish champions after departing Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the 23/24 season. A statement from the club reads: “Real Madrid CF and Kylian Mbappe have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons.” Following the successful acquisition of Mbappe, reports suggest that Madrid are now eyeing another major talent.

According to Romano’s report, Real Madrid’s focus has shifted to securing the services of Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies. Romano mentioned on social media: “Understand Real Madrid are still working on Alphonso Davies deal, as new contacts took place this week. Bayern new contract proposal, still valid — so it’s up to Alphonso now; accept it or leave.

Real won’t pay rumoured €50m fee, only on favourable conditions.” Earlier this year, Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl confirmed that the club had offered Davies a new contract.

Eberl stated, “We sent Alphonso a very concrete, appreciative offer. At some point in life, you have to say yes or no. Real Madrid hasn’t contacted us.”

After Bayern’s loss to Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League, Davies himself commented on his future, stating: “Will I play here at the Bernabeu? Right now, my agent is talking to Bayern.

Whatever happens, I’m very grateful to Bayern.” Davies is widely considered one of the top left-backs in world football, showcasing his talents during his tenure in Germany.

To date, the 23-year-old has amassed 195 appearances for Bayern, scoring 11 goals. He has also clinched a total of 13 trophies with the club, including five Bundesliga titles and one Champions League.
