It’s emerged that Jude Bellingham might not be ready for the start of the 2024/25 season if his long-term issue doesn’t improve during this summer’s European Championship.The 20-year-old midfielder, recently celebrating a Champions League victory with Real Madrid, has been granted a week’s rest before rejoining the England camp for Euro 2024 preparations.

It’s been a demanding season for him, with 47 appearances for club and country. Despite dislocating his left shoulder in November, he continued to play through the pain barrier, as seen in footage before the Champions League final. Reports indicate that the injury has significantly impacted his performance towards the end of the season

According to a report from Cadena SER, the pain in Bellingham’s shoulder has worsened towards the end of the season, significantly affecting his performance.The report suggests that if conservative treatment fails in the coming weeks, surgery may be the only option. This would entail a three-month recovery period, causing him to miss pre-season and the start of La Liga. Ancelotti previously mentioned the possibility of surgery if the pain persisted, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the shoulder.
