With Toni Kroos departing, the club will seek to fill the significant gap left by the German player’s retirement from football by actively engaging in the transfer market.As per reports from the Spanish newspaper Marca, Joshua Kimmich could open up the possibility for Real Madrid to sign him, similar to his compatriot Toni Kroos.Ancelotti sees similarities in Kimmich’s playing style to Kroos’s. Real Madrid officials are confident that Kimmich would bring versatility to the midfield, a type of player Ancelotti admires for the potential he offers in midfield participation.

According to the newspaper, Real Madrid is also targeting Alphonso Davies, whose contract as a Canadian left-back expires in 2025, potentially making him available this summer. Recent discussions suggest a possible renewal agreement between Bayern and Davies. Despite some doubts in the final stages of the season, Real Madrid recognizes Davies as one of the most gifted left-backs globally.

Following the Champions League final, Real Madrid will shift their focus towards finalizing the two deals to further enhance the team.
