Perez provides 100 million euros to sign the ideal replacement for Toni Kroos in the summer of 2025

While the transfer market is still open, Real Madrid has clear plans for the coming days regarding Carlo Ancelotti’s team. The draw against Real Mallorca in their La Liga opener has fueled speculation about potential signings, particularly concerning a replacement for Toni Kroos.

Carlo Ancelotti recently acknowledged Kroos’s unique qualities and the challenge of finding a similar player, emphasizing the need for the team to adapt and remain motivated with new additions.

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid is not expected to sign a replacement for Kroos this summer. However, Florentino Pérez is reserving €100 million for a future acquisition. The club is closely monitoring Florian Wirtz’s performance this season.

If Wirtz impresses and is deemed a strategic target by Juni Calafat, Real Madrid plans to pursue his signature in the summer of 2025. This potential move is especially anticipated as Luka Modric is also expected to leave in the near future.
