The Englishman finished the league campaign as one of the top goalscorers despite having played as a midfielder most of the time. He was crucial to Real Madrid picking up big points in the title race.
Carlo Ancelotti, in turn, has missed out on the LaLiga Coach of the Season award as it is Girona's Michel to win the prize. The Catalans finished third in the league table which is a huge achievement for them.
