 Real Madrid will not send Arda Güler on loan next season -report

 Turkish midfielder and wonder kid Arda Güler will remain with Real Madrid next season, forgoing a loan move as the club prioritizes his development under their watchful eye, according to a report published today in Spanish outlet MARCA.

Güler impressed in the closing weeks of the 2023-24 season, tallying six goals in just 440 minutes of playing time. Real Madrid, however, is wary of the potential pitfalls of loan spells, where playing time is not guaranteed. This cautious approach reflects their commitment to Güler’s long-term growth, given that the player is just 19 years old.

Despite his promise, Güler’s immediate role with the first team is likely to be limited. The impending arrival of Kylian Mbappé could push Rodrygo into a substitute role. If forwards Joselu and Brahim Diaz also stay put, Güler may find himself on the fringes of the squad next season.
